Memory loss program offered at Dietert

Posted: Sunday, June 12, 2016 12:00 am

A diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia can be as devastating and frightening as a cancer diagnosis. But there is hope. It’s important to learn as much as possible about the condition and develop effective coping skills from the start so that each day can be appreciated.

Anyone who has been diagnosed with cognitive impairment or the early stages of dementia is encouraged to sign up for a special course offered at the Dietert Center, “Changes, Challenges and Choices.” This five-session educational support program will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 to 5 p.m. beginning Monday, June 13, at the Dietert Center.
