Posted: Saturday, December 27, 2014 12:00 am

Kerr County employees and elected officials gathered at the Hill Country Youth Exhibit Center last Friday for lunch and the annual Christmas celebration and service award recognition.

Pct. 1 Commissioner Buster Baldwin presided over the awarding of certificates and pins to the 38 employees honored this year. The group recognized on Friday has worked a total of 430 service years for the county. Baldwin also honored the late county judge Pat Tinley and Pct. 4 commissioner Bruce Oehler who passed earlier this year during his invocation and blessing of the lunch.
