The 'winding road' for John Davidson began in 1966 with his endearing role as host of “The Kraft Summer Music Hall”, the summer replacement for the "Andy Williams Show". "Engaging the audience", he would ask what year a couple was married... then 'pop out' a memorable song from the year they married. “The Kraft Summer Music Hall”, soon to be followed by star roles in Walt Disney movies, "The Happiest Millionaire" with Fred MacMurray, and "The One and Only Original Family Band" with Walter Brennan. Definitely a "Tonight Show" Johnny Carson favorite, John Davidson served as "guest host" more often than any other singer/musician... 40+ times. Maybe "propelled" by how he handled himself this night(!) ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUWEVtLPISg More TV hosting followed, and as history repeats itself, he finds himself back on the stage with recent National Touring roles in "Wicked" and "Finding Neverland", and now once again, "engaging an audience" with a great voice and guitar at the Cailloux Theater in Kerrville, TX!
