SU to present “The Runner Stumbles”

The Flag Is Up Productions will kick off the 2014-2015 season with its production of, “The Runner Stumbles.” Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, and Saturday, Oct. 18, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19 in the Hanszen Fine Arts Building Studio Theatre on the Schreiner University campus.

Tally students selling Mamacita's Mexican Supper tickets

Tally Elementary kicked off its annual fundraising efforts Thursday at a school-wide Pep Rally designed to get students excited to sell. For the 13th year, Tally is partnering with Mamacita’s Restaurant for its Mexican Supper Fundraiser.

CTC donates to BT Wilson

BT Wilson Sixth Grade School recently received a $6,000 check from Calvary Temple Church. The money will be used to fund the school’s Blessings in a Backpack program, which sends a weekend’s worth of food home with children in need. The money also will help with flooring improvements for the school’s existing Gaga Ball pit. BTW Principal Jim Harmon (above, left) and school counselor Amy Waiser (center) thanked Pastor Dell Way and wife Cindy Way (right) and CTC Youth Minister Michael Way, as well as the whole congregation, for their generosity and kindness in supporting the school.

Project Graduation starting strong

KISD students participate in leadership camps

Four Kerrville ISD students were nominated for and participated in the 2014 Lone Star Leadership Academy Camp held this summer in San Antonio. They were Ian Chancellor, Hannah Davis, Cade Secor and Samantha Sollers.

Antler Tram to continue for Tivy games
