Council to refinance bond issue

Posted: Thursday, October 31, 2019 12:00 am

Kerrville City Council considered on Oct. 22 refinancing one of the city’s bond issues to reduce its debt; and voted to participate in 10 percent of a local match in support of the Kerrville-Kerr County Airport as the independent board of that entity seeks a 90 percent grant funding elsewhere to build more T-hangars at the airport.

With Mayor Bill Blackburn absent, Councilwoman and Mayor Pro Tem Judy Eychner led this meeting.
