Dietert News – June 5, 2019

I visited the Quilting group last week and was amazed by their handwork and the process of quilting.

If you are looking for something to do on Wednesdays from 9-11 a.m., please come volunteer with this group. Talk about relaxing and calming, working on the quilts while looking out the windows at the beautiful view and sharing some fellowship and conversation, sounds like a perfect morning for me. They showed me that even I could learn to do the stitching, so if I can do it, I know you can. They take quilt tops provided by community members and complete the hand-quilting process in turn for a fee that is then donated back to the Dietert Center. So, you are getting and giving at the same time.
