The schedule may indicate that Our Lady of the Hills' 67-51 win over San Antonio Keystone on Friday was the final home floor contest for the year, but like the infomercials say, "wait, there's more."

That is because there will be one more game at Callioux Gym for the Hawks after their TAPPS 3A-District 4 record was upped to 7-0 in the victory.

The win clinches the district championship, gives OLH a first round bye, and a home game in the second round of TAPPS playoff competition. OLH's playoff opponent will be determined by first round results.

The game with Keystone did, however, prove to be the final regular season match for five Hawks seniors and their teammates on Parent's Night, and in the win there were some solid contributions from all.

When usual leading scorer Travis Reeh re-injured his ankle in the first quarter and sat out the remainder of the game, Joaquin Vasquez led a contingent of double digit makers with 19 points.

Cole Lutz had 15, Hunter Taylor 13,and James Ibarra 10. Vasquez, Lutz, Taylor, William Westfall (6), and Reeh (2) are all seniors. Ibarra is only a sophomore.

OLH (19-8 overall) also received help from junior Will Cummings' two points.

OLH has a non-district outing in San Antonio versus Texas Military Institute on Tuesday, Feb. 5 before finishing up district action on Friday, Feb. 8 in Hallettsville against Sacred Heart.
