The Kerrville Majors All-Stars recorded 15 hits on the night en route to a 22-5 win over Fredericksburg Wednesday night at Ingram Little League Fields.

Domynik Vasquez blasted a triple in the first inning to score Robert Johnson and Ben Yoder to get Kerrville on the board. Myles McDaniels earned two RBIs on a single. Johnson ripped a double to score Iric Foster and Yoder followed with a two-bagger, plating Joe Zabala and Johnson to give Kerrville a 7-0 lead after their first at-bat.

Fredericksburg earned three runs in the bottom of the frame, bringing the score to 7-3.

Noah Collins led off the second inning with a homerun, while Darren Dominguez and Johnson belted a double and single, respectively, to score Kaeden Rodriguez and Evan Peschel, upping Kerrville's lead to 10-3.

The Kerrville defense held Fredericksburg to only three batters in the bottom of the second inning, with no runs scoring.

Vasquez homered as the leadoff batter in the top of the third inning, McDaniels earned an RBI on a fielder’s choice and Dominguez connected on a double, earning two RBIs when Rodriguez and Peschel crossed the plate. Dominguez tacked on another run on a passed ball, giving Kerrville a 15-3 lead.

Fredericksburg scored their last runs in the bottom of the third inning, making the score 15-5.

Kerrville continued to dominate at the plate by adding seven runs in the top of the fourth inning, with the highlight being a double by Vasquez and forcing a run-rule victory.

Vasquez led the Kerrville offense with four RBIs and two hits on three at-bats. Dominguez went 2-for-2 and also earned four RBIs.

Johnson had two hits and three RBIs, McDaniels finished with three RBIs on one hit. Yoder added two RBIs on two hits, while Foster, Collins and Zabala also earned runs batted in.

Peyton Middleton, Johnson and Vasquez shared duties on the mound.

Middleton went two innings, allowing five hits and striking out two. Johnson tossed for a single inning and allowed zero hits, while striking out two. Vasquez closed out the game, sitting down three Fredericksburg batters and allowing no hits.

Kerrville Majors will return to the field on Monday, where they will play at 7 p.m.
