Council tackles street paving, zoning changes

A 'Kerrville Kindness Award' was presented to representatives of Kerr Konnect, both office staff and drivers, all volunteers, by Mayor Bill Blackburn, second from left, at a city council workshop before the June 8 regular meeting. Co-founders Karen Burkett and husband Mike, far left and second from right, were singled out for their dedication to this service of free rides provided by volunteer drivers. And they are now offering rides for people to take pets to veterinarians.
