To the editor:

“There was a crooked man,

And he walked a crooked mile;

He found a crooked sixpence

Upon a crooked stile;

He bought a crooked cat,

Which caught a crooked mouse,

And they all lived together

In a little crooked house.”

This rhyme reveals a known crook with a track record of amoral behavior. It observes his life step-by-step. Finally, those associated with him become trapped in a crooked house.

President Donald J. Trump is a man so audacious that we citizens see and hear his character. His pattern of lying and stealing both things and values honored by moral people is apparent. He is not a man in whom we can entrust any portion of government.

Therefore, it is my opinion that we must impeach him for misdemeanors and perhaps even for high crimes. Impeachment is not only a legal process decided in the courts for treason; it is also a political process by which the American people and their elected officials can remove a president for misdemeanors.
